John T. Chepul, CPA

John is a 1990 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his BS in Business Administration and Masters in Tax. After school, he moved to Charlotte to begin his career with Arthur Andersen and later, IDS.
In 1994, John joined the Corporate Tax team at Wells Fargo (then First Union). There he gained vast experience in complex corporate tax, working on federal, state, and international returns.
In 2005, John resigned his position of Tax Manager to be a stay-at-home dad to son Luke, and later daughter, Ella.
In 2009, he returned to work with McDade & Adams CPAs, where his focus was on tax and bookkeeping for small businesses and individuals. He also spent some time with KPMG as Tax Manager - Federal Tax. John is a diligent researcher who is dedicated to doing things the right way. He found his passion was in providing small business owners and individuals solid counsel and quality service.
John founded Chepul CPA, PLLC in 2012 and loves seeing his clients succeed in their own businesses, knowing he has contributed by taking the stress of accounting off their plate.
John lives on a small farm in Marvin, NC with his wife, Tiffany, and their two children.
